Belden's Hook-up and Lead Wire products are manufactured in-house
to assure consistent quality and are available in a variety
of materials, sizes and designs to meet rigid industry and government
specifications. These products are used for the interconnection
of circuits, the internal wiring of computers and data processing
equipment, appliances, lighting, motor leads, heating and cooling
equipment, harness fabrication and automotive applications.
Wiring intended for use in appliances and equipment is recognized
and labeled with Underwriters Laboratories’ Appliance
Wiring Material Label (AWM).
Belden’s Flat Cables are designed using
the same expertise and design sophistication that made Belden®
the leader in round cable. Their extensive line includes
Gray Ribbon, Rainbow, Vari-Twist® and Shielded and Jacketed
Flat cable options. Flat cable is primarily used for the
internal interconnection of electronic equipment.
Belden Low Loss 50-Ohm Radio Frequency Coaxial
cables (RF500 and RF 600) are ideal for use as antenna jumper
cable assemblies and short wireless communications systems such
as Wireless Local Loop (WLL), Land Mobile Radio (LMR®),
PCS and cellular. They can also be used in (in-building) wireless
applicaions (WLANS/Wi-Fi).
Belden Molded Cable Assemblies are designed
for reliable performance in a variety of input/output (I/O)
and keyboard interface applications. For standard assemblies,
Belden uses three standard cable configurations: general
purpose unshielded, general purpose shielded, and super shielded
(with a foil plus braid shield for areas of moderate-to-heavy
noise/interference). Semi-custom or custom assemblies
are also available.
Belden's Shielded Twisted Pair Cables meet/exceed
all industry standards and outdoor requirements for Wi-Fi tower
transmissions – even in high RF environments. They are
also easily terminated on standard RJ-45 connectors.
Belden's Portable Cordage products are available
in a wide assortment of styles, lengths, and thicknesses.
Products offered include 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-conductor styles,
as well as multi-conductor constructions. Jacket options
include PVC, rubber, oil-resistant rubber and Belflex®.
Belflex is a premium PVC jacket compound (Class 43) that is
superior to standard PVC for flexibility and durability.
Belden portable cordage is listed by Underwriters Laboratories
Inc. (UL); some cords are also certified to CSA Standards.
