The GSM gateway / CDMA gateway / 3G gateway system ECOTEL® VTM pro allows enterprises, domestic and international long-distance network operators, local network operators and prepaid card operators to cost-effectively route mobile radio calls on a large scale. The gateway system is connected via E1, T1 or VoIP. It offers up to 32 GSM, CDMA or 3G channels and can be integrated with a SIM card server (SCS).
 
Besides saving money through optimum exploitation of price differences, the ECOTEL® VTM pro multichannel gateway system is also useful for implementing last-mile solutions (wireless local loop, WLL). The gateway provides fast, cost-effective connections between subscribers (ISDN and analog) and carrier networks. Furthermore organizations with high security requirements can use ECOTEL® VTM pro to create backup solutions for use during landline outages (business continuity). For that purpose ECOTEL® VTM pro is connected directly in front of the telephone system or the switch. In case the fixed network fails, all of the communication such as telephone calls, faxes, Internet and e-mail can be transported via GSM, 3G and GPRS.
 
ECOTEL® VTM pro is based on Linux which makes it easy to implement extensions, additional applications and customer-specific adaptations.
